A report has reached' London that tho Soviet has sent an ultimatum to Habibullah Khan, known as Baccha Sakao, new Ameer of Afghanistan, demanding an apology and compensation for ill-treatment of Eussian nationals at Kabul, especially ten aviators lent to Amanullah. Failing a satisfactory reply, the Soviet reserves liberty of action.
