FRENCH GRAND PRIX
. A triangular road circuit at Le Mans, 120 miles from Paris, has been selected for the French Grand Prix limited fuel race which will be held next June. This race, the only one directly organised by the French club, is run under the recently adopted international rule providing for a petrol and oil allowance of 30 lbs. of petrol and oil per 62 miles.
Competitors .can select their own proportions of lubricant and fuel out of the total allowance, it being understood that both engino and transmission must bq provided for. Minimum weight of the cars is 1980 lbs. empty, this including one spare wheel which must be carried during the race. The petrol tank must bo independent of. tho body and external, no streamlining being allowed. Tho distance of tho race is 4120 miles.
