Cut the leg off tho stocking 4in or Sin above the foot, gather round the top with a strong thread, pull together, and fasten off. Cut up the centre of the stocking from the bottom. for about sin or. Gin; this is to form tho legs. Stuff with old rags, make the head nice and firm and tie the neck in firmly, and bow up the legs. Now outline the mouth with red wool, eyelashes, and 3ioso with brown, and eyes with blue, then with a few threads of brown or yellow make a little row ■ of curls just to show under the bonnete . Wfieh Bally is dressed in her frock and bonnet and a little pair of cloth shoes, stuffed at the toes and sewn on well,' she is the dearest of dolls. ■
