SYNOPSIS OF LAST 21 HOUES.
Pressure has risen further, in northern Now Zealand, but has been unsteady in the South on account of a small low pressure wave moving across the South Island. The latter has been responsible for southerly winds chancing to westerlies at places, especially about Cool; Strait, and for some scattered showers since last night in the western districts and Otago. Generally, however, the weather has been fair with cool to moderate temperatures.
