The Minister of Public Works (the Hon. E. A. Ransom) leaves for the South to-night to continue his tour of the South Island. It is bis intention to pay some attention to irrigation problems in Otago, and he will also pay a •visit to Southland in company with the Minister of Lands (tlio Hon. G. "W. Jgjorbes). and the Minister of Internal 'Affairs (the Hon. P. A. de la Perrello).
