Tho ex-Prime Minister .of Spain, Sen or Sanchez Guerra, had gone to Valencia to set going a Spanish revolution, in which the majority of theartillery officers promised support. Tho officers at tho last minute shirked the responsibility, and Guerra gave himself up to tho police, saying, "I alone am responsible for this abortive attempt."
