Advice was received from Mr. W. Duncan that J. Holmes, one of those originally selccted/.to sail the Clydo at Akaroa, was unable to. travel, and- that C. Prince had been elected to replace him. '■> ] It was decided to approach Mr. Duncan with. a request that ho should act' aa manager to* the Sanders Cup crew and as one of the delegates to the Dominion Conference. The appointment of the other delegate was deferred.

A deputation from the Plimmerton Boat-ing-Club waited on the meeting in connection with arrangements for Master regattas. . Complaint was made that the l'areiniita Boating Club's regatta was adversely affecting the 'Pliminei'ton rognttaj and it was suggested that Plimmerton should'be allotted the Friday and Saturday and that Paremuta should..have the Sunday and Monday. After some discussion, during which it was pointed out that the matter was purely one between the clubs, the meeting decided refer the matter back to the .clubs in'the hope of effecting a settlement. .

Consideration of. the report of Mr. V. Kiernan, who was manager to the Cornwell Cup crew, was deferred until the next meeting.
