Pressuro has been falling, more especially In the South, with tho approach of a doprosslon from lliu westward. Consequently, since last night a chango to unsettled conditions has taken place over (ho western and southern portions of tho South Island, and this morning rain was roported at places in those districts. Scattered rain also foil yesyesterday's weather was fair to fine with northeast to north winds ruling, and these have becomo fresh to strong In exposed positions. Temperatures have been warm to hot.
