DELHI, 29th January.
Ali Ahmed Jan, formerly Governor of Kabul and Amanullah'a brother-in-law, has been proclaimed King of Afghanistan by tho Shinwaris and other tribesmen at Jagdalak, near Jalalabad, and is now marching to Kabul. In view of this development the Government of India has decided to evacuate the British and foreign nationals from the legations at Kabul. Two troop-planes are leaving Peshawar this morning. Sir F. H. Humphrys, the British Minister, will be tho last to leave. Possibly Amanullah will support Ali in his attempt to wrest the throne from Baceha.
