At a meeting of the Pahiatua A', and P. Association,, held on Saturday, it was decided, on account of the local races being held on the day fixed for closing the entries, to extend the time for receiving entries till Saturday next. : The secretary reported that entries were coming Co hand exceptionally well. There was also a big demand for sideshow space. In the sheep section this year there will be a rosebowl for the most points in the Romney and Southdown classes; a cup for the best pen of three Southdown • mm lambs; a. rose-bowl i'or ( the most points in the fat lamb section, and the Tyleo . memorial challenge cup for the most points in the freezing classes. In connection with the last-named trophy, a miniature cup, a replica of the original, will be presented to the winner. The tender of Mr. V. G. Bourke for the sole rights of the publican's booth was accepted. Intending exhibitors may obtain the fullest information in connection with tfco Show on application to the secretary (Mr. J. A. Walsh).
