THE FILM "DAWN"
BANNED IN NEW ZEALAND
Cabinet, has approved of the action of the Film Censor (Mr. W. C. .Tanner) in prohibiting the screening of the film "Dawn" (which lias been the subject of world-wide controversy) in 1 Now Zealand.
When Mr. Tanner decided against tin? exhibition of the film, an appeal was made to tho Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle), who, in view of the big question involved, submitted the matter to Cabinet. Cabinet upheld the,decision of the Censor.
