SLY GROG-SELLING

CIIRISTCHURCH, 24th January. Albert Edward Orange, bootmaker and saddler, of Hanmer, was charged-at Culyerdeu to-day with polling liquor in a nolicense district, and illegally keeping liquor for sale in a no-license district. After the police evidence had been tendered, Orange, who had pleaded not guilty, withdrew his plea, ami pleaded guilty. He was fined £25, with costs, on each of the two charges.
