_ INVERCABGIJjL, 23rd Jan. During a thunderstorm at Mokoreta l;o-day, George WKay, a spectator at the sports meeting, was struck by lightTiing and rendered unconscious. Attention was immediately forthcoming, and ha soon, recovered. Apart from fooling somewhat stiff, he was none the worse for his experience.
