Atmore, Minister of Education, accompanied by his private secretary (Mr. W. J. Deavoll), and Messrs. T. B. Strong, Director ' of , Education, ' and B. .Savage, Departmental Architect, arrived in Nelson this.morning. During, his visit'the Minister will confer with the-.chairman and members of the Nelson' College Board regarding the erection of hostel accommodation at the Boys' College,'and he will also look into the question of the acquisition <}f a- new school site in the wood. In addition a number of appointments of a private, nature have been fixed. Mr. Atmore will return to Wellington to-morrow evening.
