MURDER MYSTERY
BODY FOUND IN GARAGE ■ MISSING FOR TEN WEEKS (Received 12th January, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 11th..January. ; Scotland Yard is investigating tho mystery of the murder of Vivian Messiter,' aged 55, the Southampton manager of an American oil company, who had boen shot with a revolver through the back and head. The body was found inside a private garage at Southampton, the building being padlocked on the outside. It is ton weeks since his disappearance, and the police theory is that tho murder was committed away from tho garage and tho body taken there. The post mortem revealed that death had taken placo two months previously, and that ho was last, seen on 30th October last.
