The opiniou.that there were "more than sufficient" sellers of ice-cream at .TitaM Bay Seach was expressed ,by councillors of the Makara County Council at this morning's meeting. A.further application before the council for a permit to sell ice-cream at the beach was refused. Councillor Sloane said he did not favour the granting of licenses to vendors, as he considered it unfair to those who had erected permanont places at Titahi' for the sale of icecroam.. .
