' Two first offenders for drunkenness were convicted and discharged- at . the. Mount Cook Police Court this morning by • Mr. T. H.- Coltman,- J.P., Edward HickmtuL. aged 50,.a second offender, was fined 10s, in default '48 hours' imprisonment. He was allowed' 24 hours in which to pay. For his third offehee of drunkenness, George O'Brien, aged,2B, was fined £1, in default seven days' imprisonment. Six days were allowed for the payment of ,the fine. '■■'.',.■ ' .' '
