NOTICE- IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Wednesday, the 19th December, 1928, the followin; resolution was passed:— That the Wellington City Council pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Municipal Corporations Act 1920 and their respective Amendments and in pursuance and exercise of every other A;t and authority in that behalf it enabling doth . hereby ' resolve by way of Special Order:— ■ ....,' 1. That a Special Loan oi One hundred and thirty-four thousand three hundred pounds (£134,300) to be known as "The Wellington City Waterworks Destructor and Lighting Loan 1901 Repayment Loan 1929" be raised by- the Wellington City Council for the purpose of redeemingl the outstanding liability in respect of a-Loan (The Wellington. City Waterworks Destructor and Lighting Loan 1901) of Two hundred and thirty-five thousand pounds (£235,000) which matures on the First day of May, 1929. 2. That the rate ot interest on the said Loan be not exceeding Five Pounds ten shillings (£5 10s Od) per centum per annum payable half-yearly on the First day of November and the First day of May in each year during the currency of the Loan being a period of Twenty-seven (27) years from the First day of May 1929. .3. That a sinking fund, of Two pounds. (£2) per centum per annum be established in connection with the said Loan, the first payment to the sinking fund to be made not later than two years after the first day from which interest to the lender is computed on any moneys so borrowed. _4. That the security for the interest, sinking fund and other charges and repayment of the said Loan be a special rate of Eighteen one hundredths of a pei-uy (18/100 d) in the.pound-on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, . AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of tho Wellington City Council to be held on MONDAY, the 21st.
