SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
A-programme o£ bright items w;is tendered by Mrs. D. Ritchie at the Sailors Friend Society last night. Many encores were demanded. Light refreshments were dispensed in an interval. Tlie performers were Mrs. Ritchie, Misses Reynolds, Newlu'i'ls, and Murray, and Messrs. Taylor {i-i=l Carson, and Masters Harold Reynolds ami Edmund Reynolds. Mrs. Ritchie and Miss Reynolds were at the piano.. The competitions afforded much pleasure to the guests. The prizes came from Napier, and went to the Somerset and Kent. - .
