ADVENT OF FAMINE
MANY MILLIONS STARVING WORSE STILL EXPECTED, Australian Press Association. (Received 21st November, 10 a.m.) SHANGHAI, 20th November. Twelve million Chinese have already; reached starvation point, and it is expected that the total will reach twenty milion when tho famine roaches its height in Northern and Central China, acording to an official statement from tho China International Famine Relief Committee. The latter estimates the minimum required for relief work at £4,000,000.
