A picture frock of ivory embossed georgette, embroidered in gold and diamante, was worn by Lorna Mavis, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Trongrove, Ghuznee street, on the occasion of her marriage to Howard, Douglas Travel's, second son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Ellis, of Kelb.urn. A veil of old Limerick lace (lent by a friend) was also worn, and the bouquet carried was of cream and. gold roses and maidenhair fern. The ceremony took place at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, when Archdeacon Johnson officiated. The bridesmaids, the Misses Ida Searle, Jocelyn Joliffe, Dulcie Gardner, and Marian Nahr, were in spring green ring velvet frocks, with shoulder bands and streamers of gold net. Their' hats of black crinoline straw had diamante b,ucklcs, and they carried- sheaves of tulips and lioppies tied with gold tissue. They also wore the bridegroom's gifts—crystal necklets. Two little flower girls, Colleen and Shirley Bohan, were in frilly frocks and gold caps, and carried gold baskets of flower petals. Their presents from, tho bridegroom were gold bracelets^ Mr. J. Ellis was best man, and Messrs. W. Platts-Mills, Gr. Waterson, and E. Wright were groomsmen. The wedding reception was givey, at the Adelphi 'Cabaret, Mrs. Trengrove receiving in black georgette, with silver trimming, • black hat, and satin coat. Mrs. Elii» (mother of the bridegroom) was in petunia and black and a black hat. The bride's travelling frock was of cherry crepe de chine, embroidered in cream and green, a green straw ■ hat trimmed to tone, and a fur coat.
