BRITISH WOOL MARKET.
(Received 26th October, 11 a.m.) LONDON, 25th October. At the sheepskin sales there was a good attendance. Of 5000 bales offered only half were sold, owners declining to'meet the market. Merinos and fine crossbred combings were 10 per cent, below September rates. Low crossbreds were neglected. The Bradford market is firm, following the rise in values in Australia. Quotations are maintained at last week's level, but there is little response from users.
