(fly Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, This Day. The jubilco of tlio constitution of'tlie Borough of Ashburton is being celebrated. Yesterday the children of the town and suburban schools held a sports meeting. To-day the council entertained the pioneers at a luncheon, which was attended by 130. To-morrow the councillors will attend a service at St. Stephen's. On Monday a, gala sports meeting will be held, preceded by a »roecssion, and followed by the coronation of, the carnival queen in tiie Domain. On Tuesday the present councillors will entertain past councillors at a smoke concert.
