Some time ago Mr. J. R. M'Kenzie imported the American stallion Peter Chenault, and since the horse's departure from America there has been ample evidence of his value as a sire of speedy young horses. Breeders who have sent mares to Peter Chenault will-be interested in the following reports from the "American Horse Review" of 12th September, giving the previous week's racing in America, which show the get of Peter Chenault, 2.4%, to have won four races and finished second five times, the get of Great Britten; 2.2%, son of Peter Chenault, having won two races and one.second jthe same week.
