MANOR PARK CLUB \ Last Saturday Mornington took a not over-strong team out to Manor Park, and were defeated by the home players by seven matches to three. The following are the results, Mornington players mentioned first:—Wilson beat Cooke, 2 and 1; A. G. Williams lost to Ronald, 3 and 2; Brien lost to P. G. Williams, 1 down; Flanagan lost to Butler, 2 and 1; M'Crea lost to Pope, 1 clown; Pitt lost to Chadwick, 6 and 5; Edwards beat Barnard, 5 and 3; Young lost to Pankhurst, 10 and 8; Herd beat Radford, 5 and 3; Rodgers lost to. Broekett, 3 and 1. Next Sunday Manor Park are playing Paekakariki on the latter links, and the following is the team selected: —Cooke, Ronald, Williams, Butler, Hendry, Pope, Chadwick, Pankhurst, Mehaffey, Barnard, Sherwood, Green, Barr, Broekett, Rodgers.
