MR. BRINDLE AT NGAIO
Mr. T. Brindle, the Labour candidate for Wellington Suburbs, addressed a large and enthusiastic meeting of friends and supporters in the Town Hall, Ngaio, last night. Mr. T. M. Gault occupied the chair. Mr. Brindle, during the course of a short address, mentioned that, although the Eeform Government had been in power for a long number of years, it had never yet been representative of a majority of the voters. The prospects for Labour throughout the country were exceedingly bright at the present time. The attempt would bo made to lure the thoughts of the people away | from the inequities and injustices perpetrated by the Eeform administration to some imaginary grievance committed ;by Labour, on the planet Mars. The j Labour Party would wage the battle where it belongs, on the doorsteps of the people of Nevr Zealand, and its effect upon the hearths and homes of men, women, and children concerned.
