MISHAPS ACCIDENTAL
SYDNEY, loth October. The A.J.C. stewards to-day held an inquiry into the Dowltng Steeplechase at liandwick on 6th October, which was the subject of adverse public comment and described by the Press as a fiasco. The stewards examined the trainers and other interested parties and came to the conclusion that the race was run on its merits and the mishaps in it were accidental, consequently no action was taken. Trotting news will bo found on page 15.
