SHORTT'S THEATRE.
"When Fleet Meets Fleet," now showing at Shortt's Theatre, tells tho story of Otto Barrow, a commander In tho Germany Navy, who neglects his English wife, Erica, for his work, whilst Dick Norton, who had also loved Erica, is an Englishman in. the British Navy. Lieutenant Aden,,a brother officer of the German commander, takes advantago of the husband's Mar breaks out and Barrow leaves his wife, thinking she loves Aden. In tho Battle of Jutland he is killed, Aden is blown up, and Dick Norton is wounded, but is nursed back to life by Erica, and after the war sho consents to be his wife. "When Fleet Meets Fleet" is an impressive and realistic reproduction of the great Battle of Jutland, with a story of great interest, excellently played and produced. Tho second picture is an exciting Western drama, "Double Fisted," starring Jack Perrin. There Is a good supporting programme.
