Thousands of Scots armed with claymores, dirks, and bucklers, are shown in "Annie Laurie," which will be screened at the Seaside Pictures, Lyall Bay, to-night. The plcturo is based on tho best beloved of all Scottish ballads and the inter-clan warfare that finally ended in the massacre of Glencoo, adds historic interest to an unforgettable romance of the screen. Miss Lillian Gish in the rolo of "Annio Laurie" proves her right to the title as "the screen's greatest emotional actress." A splendid supporting programme will also bo I screened.
