The Dominion foursomes championships to-day saw the Wellington brothers, Jack and Harold Black, put up a line score in their morning round for the rest of the field to shoot at. In a way it was a repetition of Saturday afternoon, when five different players had chances of equalling the 305 which' Shaw had handed iv To-day the local couple, Dr. Ross and C. B. Wight, picked up five strokes on the two Blacks, and-, finished in-the. aggregate three strokes aW- of them. Another pair, Morpeth amTMacbeth, also started two strokes behind the Blacks and picked up three strokes on them; in the afternoon, finally leading them by one stroke. Simo and B. V. Wright, whose morning. round had been. 78, also had a chance for the foursomes championship in the afternoon, but they failed a tew holes from home. Rain fell in heavy showers all day, and the wind was fitful.
