LODGE MEETINGS

The bi-montlily meeting of Wellesley Juvenile Lodge, No. 7, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held last Monday evening, Bro. L. Mackey, N.G., presiding over a large attendance. One adult member was elected to membership, and two members were reported still on sick list. Bro. H. Raines, PDDG.M., P.G.P., assisted by Bros. J. C' E. Turner. P.G., and J. West P.G.. installed the following officers for tne_ ensuing tenn:-J.P.G., Bro. L. MocK-ay; N.G., Bro. R. Burgess; V.G., Bro. W. Kelly; Eec. Sec, Bro. J. A. Evans; conductor, Bro. R. P. Lee; warden, Bro. C. Hayes; 0.G., Bro. J. Turner; 1.G., Bro. R. Sergent; R.S.N.G., Bro.-C. Fairburn; L.S. NG., Bro. F. Anderson; R.S.V.G., E. Meynell A juvenile member was elected to life honorary membership^ for past services, having joined one o£ the adult lodess The library committee s report was received and adopted. A committee was set up to draw up a programme for "parents' evening," to be held shortly. Among those present were Sister E. Maley, vice-president, P.L;D.D.G.M., and Sister R. Finch, L.D.D.G.M. The msta ing officer congratulated the lodge on the fine set of oflioers installed, and felt assured o, a successful term. The L.D.D.G.M., bister H Finch, also conveyed best wishes to the officers for a successful terra. An offer of a number of books for the juvenile library was accepted and the donor suitably thanked. The lodge was then, closed and harmony concluded a very enjoyable Esther Rcbekah Lodge, No. 30, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting recently, Sis. R. Blair, N.G., presiding over a large attendance. One member was reported on the sick list. Among the visitors was Sister R. Finch, L.D.D.G.M. After conclusion of lodge business the lodge went into harmony. The fortnightly meeting of O-Knvi-iti Rebelcah Lodge, No. 44, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., took place at Eastbourne last week. Sister Finch, L.D.D.G.M., and suite were present for the installation ceremony. The attend-1 j ance was good. ■ After the meeting a Dutch auction was,held, Sister Wulfe-Jor-gensen, Victoria Lodge, acting as auctioneer, the sale being quite successful. The j proceeds went towards the management ! fund.
