PREMIER AT TANTA GOVERNMENT'S PLAtfS Australian Press Association—United Service. (Received 15th September, 21"p.m.) CAIRO, 14th September. Mahmoud Pasha, the Eg/ptian Premier, visited Tanta, a Waf dist hot-bed, where he addressed a large assemblage of ■ notabilities. He assured'them that constitutional Government would be restored. He declared that the Government's aim was to rid the nation of the fearful nightmare which made the Parliamentary machine a danger to public morality and an instrument,of anarchy, instead of safeguarding discipline. The Government would proceed during the winter to heighten the Assouan Dam and construct another dam, whereby Egypt would receive an extra five million cubic metres of Nile water, which would irrigate seven .hundred thousand acres. .
