"DAMNATION OF FAUST."
The Town Hall should be filled this evening when Hector Berlioz's "Damnation of Viiust" will be given by the lloyal Wellington Choral Union. The opera has been rehearsed for several months, and under Mr. John Bishop's direction the society's chorus and orchestra, consisting or some 200 members, may be expected to give a dramatic rendering. A line cast of soloists has been secured, and is as follows:— -Margaret. Madamo Winnie Fraser; Faust, Mr. Edwin Dennis; Mephistophcles. Mr. H. Barry Coney; and lirander, Mr. D. S>. Grant. A successful final rehearsal was held last, evening, when soloists, choruses, and urcher.tra went right through tho opera, and Mr. Bishop at the conclusion congratulated all on the excellence of tho rehearsal. The doors will open at 7 o'clock to-night. The performance commences at 7.45 sharp.
