Lady Bonn's action against her husband lias been dismissed, but the husband's accusations against !his*wife have still to be investigated. Judging by Lord Merivale'a sum-niftg-up of the first part of the case, the evidence was sensational. Neither 6ida: spared expense in procuring witnesses. Charges of misconduct against Sir,? Max Bonn were based upon reports frqni Paris, which the jury refused to accept at face value. The Court has now* to decide whether the introduction of:-jsvich evidence justifies Lady Bonn in (being condemned in costs for her tinsuccessful action. Lady Bonn has; a marriage settlement of £20,000 and jewels valued' at £17,000, and Sir Max Bonn, therefore, claims.that she should pay his till of costs on the claim defiidad, in his favour.
