Here is the huge drasbnlty tnat came from me jar land over the ivater and circled our hills in the early morning of the wonderful Tuesday. Came with ice on his wings and the marks of the storm on his long blue body . . . and hovered over our sleepy city and V called us out of our beds with his queer droning. The jealous clouds had imprisoned the sun, or the great wings had shorn their silver in the glint ■of it . . . but the winds swirled excitedly to ivelcome the strange bird creature. This photograph of him was taken'as he'turned and sped through the grey air to a brighter landing place.
