HEENEY IN THE RING
EXHIBITION TO BE GIVEN (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE,' 13th September. To-morrow night Tom Heeney will make his only appearance in the ring in Nov Zealand, when he will appear at the Gisborne Boxing Association's welcome home tournament, at which local amateurs, as well as several from other centres, will compete. Prior to the opcniug of the proceedings a welcome will be extended to Heeney, and Mrs. Heeney. Later in ■the evening Tom Heeney will be seen in a. special exhibition bout with his brother Jack, cx-niiddleweight champion of New Zealand. Mr. Enrle Stewart, the well-known referee from Wellington, through whose instrumentality Heeney left New Zealand for England, has been speciallyasked to referee the bout. i
