SHIPPING COMPANIES' MATCH
The annual Rugby football match between the Union Steam Ship Company and the representatives of other shipping companies ia to bo played on "Saturday afternoon at Seatoun. The competition was started in 1907 and since then the Combined Companies have won 10 matches and the Union Company 6. Last year the Combined team won by 13 points toi nil. The teams for Saturday are:— Union Company: Lapworth; George, Taylor, Hunt, Pearse; Spring, Clapham; Greenwood; Clark; Sutherland, Grifien, Frost, Grant, Connor, Collins, and Davies. Emergencies: Glyn Taylor and Flett. Combined Shipping Companies: Whinam; Thompson, Jowett, Pryde; Hankins, Clayton; Yon der Sloot; Rodger; Makin, Jennings, Biss, Rogers, Phillips, Desmond, Jones.
