BROKEN BYLAWS

Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon by Messrs. A. Longmore and H. A. Hnggins, J.P.'s. The following were fined for leaving motor vehicles unattended: William F. Curie, Beresford 11. Edkins, John G. Findlay, Robert Forster, Montrose Irwin, John S. Leach, Leon Albert Libeau, Horace M'Hallick, Koy G. Mexted, Ruben Mottram, Robert O'Shea, Thomas Ridley, 10s each; Roy Brooke-Taylor, Arnold Parkinson, 5s each. Failure to comply with a cleansing order cost Alice Chapman Stevenson ids. On a charge of having overloaded a motor-lorry William Freeman was convicted and discharged; for having no rear liglit on his vehicle he was fined ss. William F. Fygors, for haying an insufficient water service on his property, was lined £1. For passing a stationary traineai1, HaiTy Rabe was fined £2, and on a similar charge Ernest J. Williams was ordered to pay costs 10s. Evans Bros, 'were ordered to pay 10s costs for having failed to obtain a heavy traffic license. For allowing stock to wander James Feely and Francis Toomey were fined 5s each, and James Allen Gray and Ellen Walsh were ordered to pay 10s costs oach. Alexander Patrick Kerr was ordered to pay 10s costs for not having a motorcycle license. The following fines were imposed for speeding, Leonard J. Satmders, £3- Jfnlson Pollett, William Reille, John C. Little £2 each, Mathew Livingstone £1 Bert Lyon 10s. Arthur J. H.
