ECONOMIC EFFORT
EXPORT DUTIES ABOLISHED Australian Tress Association—United Service. (Received 13th September, 1 p.m.) GENEVA, 12th September. The draft report of the Economic Committee discloses that sixteen States have signed an agreement abolishing export duties on hides and skins, and restricting the level of the duties on bones. This ir the first collective tarill; agreement concluded through the committee's efforts. The committee is uoxt investigating coal and sugar, and will subsequently inquire into aluminium, timber, pulp for paper, rice, cement, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
