& LIKELY TO BE DROPPED In view of the report which the Special Committee brought in on the Summer Time (Local Eapoweving) Bill, Mr. T. K. Sidey has decided that he cannot ask the Government to provide facilities for bringing the Bill before the House again. Mr. Sidey announced his decision to this effect last night; but he stated that lie would not go to the length of having th- Bill removed from the Order Paper. la the circumstances, although the Bill still stands for committal, it is unlikely that it will be heatd of again this session.
