LOOKING FOR A "FRAME UP."
"I am just a young fellow looking for information," remarked Mr. E. J. Howard (Christchureh South) in the House of Representatives yesterday when inquiring what arrangements the Government had made with the United Party. In Christchureh, he said, there was aix arrangement that no Reform Party candidate would be put up against Labour if a United Party candidate was standing. "A certain amount of money went wrong last time," proceeded Mr. Howard, "but this time it will go into the right channels." The Hon. A. D. M'Leod: "There is no arrangement." Mr. Howard: "He knows better than that. No candidates are to' be run in cities where Labour candidates are standing." Mr. M'Leod: "No, no, we know better than that."
