South made 358 (Robins 93, Fonder 01), and 131 for six wickets, winning by four wickets. Players defeated Gentlemen by fivo wickets, making 389 (Hendren 07, Worthington 77, Wenslcy 60) and 259 for five (Woolley not out 141) against Gentlemen 436 and 211, Freeman taking six for 73.
