A doublo programme Is now being presented at (he Paramount Theatre. Tho flrst part Is a colourful plcturlsatlou of Major P. C. Wren's popular novel, "Beau Sabrcur." "Beau Subreur" la the' 3tory of a young French officer who vows ho will never look at another woman, but will devote his life to work for tho good of his country. Evelyn Brent appears as Wary Vanbrugh, an American girl who becomes a pivotal point In a Sahara Desert tribal rebellion. Gary Cooper plays Henri Beaujolais, of tho Foreign Legion, who Is transferred to secret sorvico duty on tho vast Sahara. "Tho Plastic Age," tho second feature of tho programme, Is on adaptation of Percy Marlis's lively uovol of collego life, with Clara Bow in tho leading part. Tho bright accompanying music sup plied by tlio Paramount Orchestra adds to the enjoyment of these two attractive pictures. Laughter and excitement mid gay romanco aro to be had in "A Girl in Kvery Port," with Victor M'Laglcn lv the leading role, screening at tho Paramount Thcatro to-morrow, night. This is the first picture in which M'Laglcn appears as a star hi his own right. It is his reward for his remarkable performance as Caplain Flagg iv "What Prico Glory," and tho doughty soldier of fortune, miner, and prizefighter of real life surpasses even his part in tho Great War epic which won him fame, lv addition to M'Laglou, tho cast includes eight leading ladies, among whom are such outstanding favourites as Maria Casajauna, Natalie Joyce, Louise Brooks, Leila Uyams, and Elena Jurado, all of them representing various types of beauty from Amsterdam to Panama. For the story deals with a sailor who, as the titlo reveals, lms "a girl in every port." Robert Armstrong has the part of the othef sailor who at lirst is tho rival then tho fliend of M'Laglen in their various lovo affalis. Tho box plan is now open at Tho Bristill Piano Co. and tho Utility Stationery Shop (next to tho theatre).
