TIN PLATE.
The Welsh tin plate trade is enjoying considerable activity and works are now reported to be running at over 90 per cent capacity. Although fresh inquiries have not recently been so numerous makers have many weeks' work in hand and the market has a steady appearance. During tne first half of this year the shipments of tin plates have totalled 270,701 tons as compared with 253,863 tons in the corresponding period of last year.
