WELLINGTON EAST ELECTORATE.
Mr J J. dark continued his election campaign and spoke-at the Masonic Hall. Seatoun, last evening. Mr., W. *-/f gers was in the chair. The candidate spoke on the lines of his previous addresses and was given an excellent hearing. Atter answering a number of questions, a resolution endorsing Mr. Clark's action in contesting the seat was carried, an amendment of thanks only finding only four supporters. Mr. Clark afterwards .proceeded to the Ratepayers' Hall, Melrose, and addressed an assembly there, receiving a unanimous vote of approval and thanks, which was carried with acclamation. i.ne candidate speaks at Roseneatn School tomorrow (Thursday) night.
