The annual report of the late Bailway Board, presented to Parliament yesterday, states that the expenditure for the year on t.lio Tawa Flat railway deviation was £55,908. The Postal authorities have received cable advice from Melbourne that the: Kaitangata, which left on Saturday for Dunediii, carries 2-1 baps of mail from Australia and 20 parcel receptacles lor Wellington and Auckland.
