"The Silver Slave," starring Irene liich, Is now being shown at Shortt's Theatre. This modern drama Is from tho peu of Howard Smith. Tho cast Includes tho lovely Audrey Ferris, ono of tho most brilliant of tho Hollywood ttnds, as well us Holmes Herbert, John Miljan, and Carrol Nyc. Tho story tells of a young widow, who, to save her daughter from unhappy marriage, wooes away all her suitors. It is only when the daughter discovers tho reason that she pardons her mother and takes tho youth who had been her heart's choice all along. Tho second attraction Is "Fast and Fearless," starring Buffalo Bill, junr., and there is a good supporting programme.
