A double programme is now being presented at the Paramount Theatre. Tlio first part is v colourful picturisatioii of Major P. C. Wren's popular novel, "Beau Sabreur." "Beau Sabrcur" la tho story of a young French officer who vows ho will never look at another woman, but will devote Ills life to work for the good of his country. Evelyn Brent appears as Mary Vanbrtigh, an American girl who becomes v pivotal point in a Sahara Desert tribal rebellion. Gary Cooper plays Henri Beaujolals, of the Foreign Legion, who is transferred to secret servico duty on the vast Sahara. "The Plastic,. Age,' tlio second fcaturo of the programme, is an adaptation of Percy Marks's lively novol of college life, with Clura Bow in tho leading part. Tho bright accompanying music sup plied by tho Paramount Orchestra adds to the enjoyment of these two .attractive pictures. "A Girl in Every Port," the new picture, with Victor M'Laglen In tho .'featured role, will bo shown at the Paramount Theatre on Friday. As the name would •signify, it is a story of the sea and the adventures of a rollicking, roving sailor, whose affairs with the ladies are tho talk of his ship. There Is an entirely new cast In each episode, with the exception, of course, of M'Laglen and his shadow, Robert Armstrong, who follows him around on his adventures. In somo ports he fares better than in others with two leading ladles to charm. The Idea is novel and original, tho story picturesque, and the character ideally suited to M'Laglcn. Mario Casajuana, tho Spanish beauty, is tho girl in the first episode, which is'laid in the romantic atmosphere of Buenos Aires. Francis M'Donald has tho other character role.'
