Ellis, a well-known resident of Footscray, Victoria, whoso hail is still dark, recently made tho following statement:—"Grey, streaked, or faded hair can be quickly turned black, brown, or. light brown, whichever shade you ivish, by the usn of the following simple remedy, which you can mix up at home. "Merely get 1 ounce of Bay Rum, i ounce of Glycerine, a small box of Orlex Compound and mix these tip with a * pint of water. Do the mixing yourself in order to make sure that incorrect ingredients are not used. Comb the liquid through the hair a couple of times a week until the desired shade results.
