RAWHITI TENNIS CLUB
The annual meeting of the Rawhiti Tennis Club was held recently, Mrs. T. B. Strong, vice-presKlent, presiding over a I fair attendance. The annual report and balance-sheet showed the club to have had a very successful season and to be in a sound 'tiancial position. The club occupied third place in the fourth-grade hiterchib competition conducted by the Wellington Association. Appreciative reference was made to the valuable services rendered to the club by Miss M. Wood, hon. treasdrer, and Mr L. R. I'etric, lion, secretary. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mrs. T. B. Strong; vicepresidents, Miss E. Scott, Mrs. T. Page, and Mr. L. J. Greenberg; lion, secretary, Mr. L. K. Pctrie; lion, treasurer. Miss M. .Wood; club captains, Mr. G. Holland and Mr. A. Minifm; management committee, Mrs. Bell, Misses Garner, A. Lithgow, K. Wood, and Messrs. J. Cuiiiining and X ] listed: delegate to Wellington Lawn Tennis Association, Mr. L. 11. l'etrie.
